Volunteering
Volunteers are critical to Hospice of Green Country’s mission of providing compassionate end-of-life care. Volunteers bring comfort, dignity and peace to patients by becoming a companion and sharing in their life stories, providing respite care for caregivers, doing chores and running errands, helping to take care of pets, sewing outfits for bereavement bears, and much more.
Hospice of Green Country regularly offers volunteer training and is always looking for more people with a heart for hospice to join our volunteer team. If you have a heart for volunteering, we have a place for you!
For more information about volunteering, please contact Christie Gibbs at cgibbs@hospiceofgreencountry.org or complete the Volunteer Interest Form below.

Thank you for your interest in becoming a volunteer! In order to better serve our patients and their families, we developed this volunteer form specifically for our hospice program. Though some information may seem private or personal, this information has proven to be most helpful in making volunteer assignments. If you have recently experienced a significant loss, we would encourage you to wait a period of at least six months prior to volunteering with us, in order to focus on your own healing. Please take your time reading and answering the questions below and click the submit button when you have completed the form. We will review your information and get back with you as soon as we are able. Thank you again for choosing to volunteer with Hospice of Green Country.
